Loran Jaddou is the child of Faris and Ban Jaddou. He has two older brothers, Mazen and Bardy, and a younger sister Mary. Loran comes from a very close-knit family where family comes first. He has over twenty cousins and is thankful to have a great and loving family.

Loran’s football career started when he was in fourth grade. He played for the St. Regis Raiders. He played football for the raiders for five years and was influenced a lot by his coaches who showed him how to play the game the right way. As an eighth grader, Loran led St. Regis to its first ever Prep Bowl at Ford Field where they ended up winning the year after. Deciding to go to Brother Rice was the best decision he could have made. His brother Mazen, who currently plays at Wayne State University, influenced him. Mazen taught Loran a lot when it came to discipline and football. He is a big reason why Loran was a successful football player. Loran ended up making varsity by his sophomore year and got his first start against Catholic Central. He ended up starting at strong safety and outside linebacker all three years on varsity under the legendary coach Fracassa. His senior year was the best thing that happened to him. He was voted captain by his teammates and led his team to a Catholic League championship. He received the Hard Nose Award, Tim MacLean Leadership award, and MVP of the defense.

Loran played basketball in the winter and devoted his spring to speed, strength, and conditioning. "I would like to thank my family for being so supportive. Thanks Mazen for making me so competitive. Thank you Mom and Dad for making me who I am today. I am blessed to have you. Coach Fracassa, I do not know what I am going to do when I play for another coach next year. You weren’t just my coach but you were my friend and I will never forget you, and it will be extremely hard to repay you. I am proud to be a Warrior, and I will never forget the experiences I had with my teammates. Thanks everyone!"

Loran will continue his education and play football at Northern Michigan University, where he becomes his older brother’s rival. He plans to major in Criminal Justice.
