Taylor has been a part of the Eisenhower football program since the third grade. He was one of the team’s water boys from third to seventh grade. He was the starting quarterback at Malow Jr. High school from 7th-9th grade. He was Ike’s backup varsity quarterback as a sophomore and was the team’s starting quarterback in his junior and senior season. As a junior, Taylor completed 192 of 315 passes for 2038 yards including 14 TD passes. Taylor completed 20 or more passes in each of five games during his junior season. Despite injuries in the first and third games of the ‘08 season, Taylor completed 114 of 201 for 1550 yard and 15 TD’s.


Taylor was selected as a captain prior to his senior season. During his career, he completed 322 of 554 passes for 3,818 yards and 31 TD passes. Taylor led Eisenhower to playoff apprarences in both 2007 and 2008. He was ranked #87 in the State of Michigan by Scout.com and #60 top recruit in Michigan by the Detroit News.
In addition, Taylor was a member of the National Honor Society for two years and carried a 3.57 GPA. Taylor was also a member of the Macomb Area Conference All Academic football team in ‘07 and ‘08. Taylor will attend Grand Valley State University on a football Scholarship.


Taylor thanked, "All of my family, especially my Mom and Dad. My mom has supported and helped me since day one and my Dad has taught me everything I know about quarterbacking. He deserves a lot of credit for my accomplishments." He also thanked, "my teammates for a wonderful high school football experience." He ended by saying, "I would like to thank God for all the blessings that He has given me."
